Final year class starts today

My final year class has started from today. Medicine ,Surgery ,Gynae…. Obs…. Lots of things . Oh  God help me . Without you nothing is possible and with you nothing is impossible.

Holidays are finished. It’s time to go back to work. Me with my brother and Nikkon and Nipun , Dany we are all going tonight.

With school friends

This was a great day with my school friends. Mukit called me last night that he wants to come to LAMB and meet with me and then we met today then 10 minutes ride in bike. Then in Tamals home we’ve met with Tanvir also. School friends ,old stories, memories, movies, lots of fun……then food and again ride adda then bari again. Great. I love this days .. It has already gone into the momentum of history as I’m writing this.

MSC 2010

We had our meeting yesterday and there is little change in plan. It will start on 24^th November 10 and ends in 27^th November 2010. Unlike last time this one students from LAMB will host the whole program. We are thinking to sit one more time before we leave for Dhaka most probably on this Tuesday, 13^th September .  

Medical Student Conference planning meeting

This is the second time that LAMB is going to arrange a medical student conference. Tomorrow 9^th September,10 at 2.30pm in LAMB conference room we are sitting in a meeting with LAMB personnel for planning of MSC-10 . There are some other people than me who are also called in that meeting including Nikkon Das, Mona Hansdak, Bornali Das, Korabi Biswas, Judith Biswas and Sudeshna Roy as all them are studying either in M.B.B.S or B.D.S course. This MSC is most probably scheduled in the last week of November,10. Final date will be confirmed later may be after the meeting. Like the previous one main speakers are coming from CMC, Vellore, India. Hope this one will be better than the previous one.

Working in LAMB Hospital

This is obviously a great opportunity for me to have a chance to work in LAMB hospital while I’m still student.

I’ll be starting my Final year classes from the middle of September,2010. Nikkon is also working with me , so does

Pamela. I’m really learning a lots of thing and also gathering new experiences. I’ve drained abcess (I/D), aspirated ascites, gave urinary catheter and watched some USG, ECG, X-rays ,Endoscopy with Dr. Kim and Dr. Saidul. We are attending in the round with doctors in the morning then sometimes in OPD sometimes in ID  and rest of the time in the doctors room.

We have watched some cases like, GBS, SJS, Multiple myeloma, DKA, MI, pressure sore and many more. We are now working in emergency sections. We are trying to learn how to manage emergency situation in different conditions. We will be working here up to 16^th September,2010 then we will go back to our study places.

Thanks to LAMB and off-course The Almighty Lord Jesus for all this.

Well i'm really having great time with doctors here. They gave me chance to come and see the patients in the hospital. I'm really learning lots of things.

Michaels Baptism

Praise the Most High , our gracious Lord. Michael had his baptism today in the LAMB church. May God bless him to serve His purpose in this world. Amen
